Description
This is an older photo from a shoot this summer. We wanted to evoke the ancient, fat, elemental goddesses. In this one, the goddess of fire, the photographer used an extremely slow shutter speed (30 seconds? I can't remember.) and she painted around me with light. She used a flashlight for the bright halo, and a small blue keychain light for my cupped hands. I think the effect is pretty surreal and nifty, and evokes fire extremely well. I like how much blue is involved with this - she went right for the heart of the flames.

Yes. Surreal but nifty.
